In Western Society, we often exist in a state of fight or flight where we experience heightened states of alertness and stress that cause harm to our mental and physical selves. Some of the tools available to us all to combat these strains of modern life are through mindful breath-work and healing touch with Thai Yoga Massage.
This workshop is designed to create a space for you to connect with your partner, friend, or loved one through the practice of healing touch and breathwork so that you may both discover a calm in the nervous system, slower heart rate and an overall state of well-being and connectedness.
In this workshop you will learn how to: Incorporate Visualization, Breath work, Fluid Body Movement, Meditation, and Relaxation techniques in conjunction with Thai Yoga Massage to accomplish the following goals:
Observe physical manifestations of mental stress through mindfulness practice
Relieve Stress for yourself and loved ones though compression and stretching techniques focusing special attention to the legs, hips, shoulders, neck, chest and face.
Learn new ways to connect with your partner, friends, and family
Safe effective Healing touch techniques
Release tension throughout the body
Breath work techniques to help relieve anxiety, stress, and create relaxation
Learn Various Acupressure points for headache, menstrual cramps, etc.
